Satisfaction, or Lack Thereof

Insatiable-

Draining bank accounts

Eating fistfuls of money

Searching for savory

To satiate this hunger inside.

Unstable-

Every inconvenience

Streams tears into my mouth

Searching for salt

To drown this sadness.

Unable-

Knowing the dangers

Can’t keep us apart, I’m

Searching for sweet

To heal this illness.

Brief Satisfaction

I’ll seduce you

With my words

That kiss your ear

And tickle you with pleasure…

Until you can’t get enough of me

And require instant gratification.

With no romance or bedside manners

We’ll go all night

‘Til the sun peaks through the shades

And wakes you.

Then you’ll walk out my front door

Only to be heard from once more

But never seen again.

Because you got what you came for-

Hip bones clashing

In the heat of the moment.

And I got what I wanted-

To be loved

No matter how briefly.

Stepford Smile

Perfect pearly periodontals

Plastered on a fresh-faced full frontal

With ruby red luscious lips

And a gallant gaze that never slips.

Powdered cherub-chiseled cheeks

And long slender legs that go on for weeks

Hold together this petite plastered shell

And a bosom that creates thoughts from Hell.

She’s a molding of God’s greatest creation

The epitome of human perfection-

But you must be careful, do not break her!

For she’s hollow within, she has no center.
