Lips parted
Giving way to
Perfected pearly whites
And spewing sarcasm
Mixed with honesty.
The upturned corners
Of your mouth
Show me the truth
Behind your emotions-
In this case
A mixture of
On your face for display
For all to see
And to cherish.

Great prose and style. I loved the “directness,” the clear and concise expression is like a “shot” that “jolts” your entire emotional being; into a state of “wow.” This is the kind of creative expression that inspires and stirs a positive spiritual response. Loved it!
