She swings and she sways
To the trill of the piano,
With a facade of blonde hair
And the red lips of a vixen
To hide the fear held in her eyes
Of the terminal illness
Dancing in her veins
From dusk ’til dawn.
She swings and she sways
To the trill of the piano,
With a facade of blonde hair
And the red lips of a vixen
To hide the fear held in her eyes
Of the terminal illness
Dancing in her veins
From dusk ’til dawn.
“Oh, hello, dear” with a bite
Caught off guard, I slip, I fall
This alligator, such a fright
I brace myself for the oncoming brawl
I think to myself I’ll stand, I’ll fight!
But the trip took it’s toll and I must crawl.
She catches me, my ankle, with her teeth
And envelopes it in a sharp pearl sheath.
