Casanova

Born with the gift of charm

He was blessed

At getting girls undressed

With a crooked smile

And false pretenses.

But who could resist

The undeniable charisma

Of this monster?

A lady killer

Stealing

Not their lives

But their self-worth.

There were none that could resist

Until the day

Casanova’s charm

Was directed at a woman

Who knew his tricks too well-

For she dabbled in lust just the same

And she twisted his game

Called out his name

And consumed him.

  2. Saludos tig23. Thank you for liking my page! I really enjoy “and consumed him” finish here, which leaves me with the feeling of a just end for the old heart-breaker. I hope to see more of your work!
